I’ll be the first to admit it, if a business is doing something bad, I’ll not visit them until further notice. Not the type to go for boycotts, but like many things, I hear a lot of people bashing the airlines. I realize some are truly bad, but overall I can’t help but think of a safer way to travel.

Could you imagine if 42,000 people a year died while flying? Nobody would get a plane. You can probably count on one hand the number of plane crashes per year in this country and I’d be willing to bet a majority of those are almost innocuous single engine prop planes crashing into some lake or farm-field with less than 10 people in the plane. Not to downplay any deaths, but I get a chuckle when people get all anxious when they talk about how “dangerous” getting a plane is. As if getting in your car is safer?

More importantly is that safety record the airliners have. People gripe these days, more and more, about their airline horror stories when traveling, but personally I’ve found one airline to be just fine when it comes to flying. But what do people want?
