The Open-Minded Left

It starts to get to be too much to argue with over things like this, but it’s pathetic a “news” orginization would ban anyone just because they’re critical of the media and their cheerleading of a man who just got elected President. These mutants were thrashing Bush from the get-go and recall that one of their own (Chris Matthew) opined it was a shame that 9/11 didn’t happen under Clinton’s watch.

Any dang way, from Drudge:

Coulter was set to unveil her new book, GUILTY.

But one network insider claims it was the book’s theme — a brutal examination of liberal bias in the new era — that got executives to dis-invite the controversialist.

“We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now,” a TODAY insider reveals. “It’s such a downer. It’s just not the time, and it’s not what our audience wants, either.”

If nothing else, this proves the media has as thin of a skin as Barack Obama does. It’s such a downer….give me a damn break.

Dear Lord Baby Jesus

If there ever was an industry more deserving of going bankrupt and being destroyed, let it be Big Media.

So little baby Jesus, while you’re lying in your ghost manger with your little balled up fists, please give a shout up to your daddy and let him reign fire and brimstone down upon Big Media, namely The New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, Air America and Keith Olbermann. Dear Lord baby Jesus, especially Keith Olbermann.

Malignant Media Bias

Heading into the holiday season and just completing another Thanksgiving feast, I think we American should give extra special thanks for what happened on November 4th, 2008. History was not only made, but I think we picked the greatest President-elect EVER.

Not only  is the economy turning around because of President-elect Obama, but now, he can take credit for…WINNING in Iraq. You know, the same war he opposed.

Simply stunning. And Republicans think they can get along with the media or  convene some sort of “right-roots” to loosen the grip of the Democrats in Washington?

In a sane world, Big Media needs to go bankrupt. They obviously have shirked their Constitutional duties and are failing to report competently to all of us. Destroy it now.

What happens to Sellouts

When you portray yourself as the “fair and balanced” network, but then sell yourselves out in order to curry favor with The One after he won on November 4th, what exactly were you expecting?

Now that the campaign is over and Obama is president-elect, his reticence to talk with the media is gone. Now, he’s eager to spread the impression of abundant pre-oath energy and activity.

So, he’s held four news conferences and two sit-down TV interviews since election day, including three news conferences three days in a row this week. He’s broken the news conference record for all recent presidents-elect.

At these news sessions since Nov. 4, the future commander in chief has answered a total of 22 questions from different reporters. Wednesday, it was NPR, the N.Y. Daily News and CNN.

But not once has the election victor called on a representative of Fox News. He just hasn’t seemed to spot them waving their hand for recognition…

Now what happens is that you either tick off the President-elect, who obviously can’t take ANY criticism or you tick off your viewers or both. And there you have Fox News right now.

I cringe when I hear liberal friends go on about people who watch Fox News, obviously taking their cues from some left-wing media blog site. For whatever reason, this year especially, I’ve watched less and less of FNC. Can’t explain why though. Maybe it’s the tabloid roots creeping in, maybe it’s Geraldo STILL being on the network, maybe it’s the RINO’s, or maybe it’s that lying suspender wearing jackass Bob Beckel or maybe it’s Bill O’Reilly. Whatever the reasons may be, my viewing of FNC is down.

It’s like hiring an idiot to be your teacher

Or in Rachel Maddow’s case, hiring an idiot like her to educate you about the Consitition. Utterly stupid.

MADDOW: I don’t want there to be any Confederate states. I want the government to work well. And I think that when conservatives crusade against government while they are trying to be appointed to head the government, I think that’s weird. Why would you hire somebody who wants to abolish something, to run that thing?

Gosh, you stupid twit, name me a Conservative or a Republican that HAS done that? What program has a Republican cut from the budget in the last 28 years?

It’s about smaller government Rachel, not having no government. Absolute moron MSNBC has there.

How about a New Fairness Doctrine

All right, not even a week and the Democrats are already drunk with power talking about reviving the so-called Fairness Doctrine.

That’s all well and fine. But let’s have a real Fairness Doctrine. We should make sure that Brian Williams, Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson present BOTH sides of every issue EVERY night.

Also, for every anti-American, anti-soldier, anti-military movie that comes out, Hollywood will produce one on the pro side of the equation.

In TeeVee land, for every show that has the dad as the bumbling stooge, another show should have him as a regular strong-willed man who doesn’t act 1/10th as bad as Hollywood protrays the average man.

For every newspaper, you will be more balanced. That includes the Washington Post and the New York Times.

Come to think of it though, this doesn’t sound right. I wouldn’t want impose false will onto newspapers or Hollywood. Honestly, I wish for the entire media to crumble. If an outlet like Air America can only be “saved” by instituting such a “doctrine”, it really ought not to be saved.

Kudos to Fox News!

You’re now part of Big Media. Obviously, you felt the need to do this to gain favor with the one. Curious, is everyone there including Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly going to kiss the foot of The One as penance for daring to ask him questions during the campaign?

And of course, congrats to the McCain campaign. You and your back-stabbers staffers are in full CYA mode now. You took the one person who actually re-energized your campaign and got the base out and now you’re acting like the complete hot-headed asshole that we knew you were. I don’t care if it’s your staffers, they’re yours.

Be gracious enough to complete your term and ride off into the sunset.

I’ve had it with the racist crap…

Charles Barkley, you are a damn buffoon. Is calling you a buffoon racist? I don’t give a shit anymore.

I’m not voting for Barack Obama because of his skin color Charles, I’m not voting for him for many other reasons.

  1. I’m not voting for Barack because I don’t wish to find out what “generated crisis” will test him in the first six months. After hearing people like Chris Matthews whine that Bill Clinton wasn’t going to have his shot at greatness because some Islamic terrorists used our planes as weapons against our own people, I have no patience with you media morons anymore. Reagardless of the outcome, you have shirked your duty as the objective journalists of our Republic and I hope most of your industry dies a painful death.
  2. I’m not voting for Barack because I don’t believe in an America that wishes to use the tax code as a weapon for “economic justice.”
  3. I’m not voting for Barack because I don’t believe the man, despite being a lawyer, understands the U.S. Constitution.
  4. I’m not voting for Barack because I understand that “redistributing wealth” doesn’t mean giving everyone a fair chance, it means reparations for slavery, something that we fought a war over and is NOT happening in this country at this point in time. I have not, I will not, nor have I have any desire to have a “slave” with African descent working for me. If I were to employee an African-American for my small business in the future it will be by contract or by handshake and will pay them accordingly.
  5. I’m not voting for Barack because he’s socialistic demagogue who preys upon peoples notions of fairness and equality in this country. He would sell this country out, getting his supporters angry at “rich people”, but all the while retaining all the wealth he has made over the years. This is not how American works. People who are successful and help others by employing them all the while making a profit is NOT evil and should not be a punishable act.
  6. I’m not voting for Barack because he WHINES about Fox News, but all the while enjoys the felching coverage from NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, L.A. Times, Hollywood, the BBC, Lindsey Lohan and Arianna Huffington. ONE network doesn’t kiss your ass and you complain about them??
  7. I’m not voting for Barack because despite not having a gun my posession, I believe the 2nd Amendment would be under assault under an Obama White House. Despite saying otherwise, his history shows that he is NOT a self-defense avocate and he is a gun banner. It has provoked my cousin and myself to joke about getting guns before they are banned, but underneath the joking, it’s the feeling that Senator Obama and a fully loaded House and Senate would bring down the 2nd Amendment.
  8. I’m not voting for Barack because I believe a President Obama would enact the so-called Employee Free Choice Act. As evidenced by his treatment of Joe the Plumber, Barack Obama would strip employees in this country their rights and privacy to be strong-armed by unions who only wish to line their pockets to take their luxury vacations and pump more money into the DNC.
  9. I’m not voting for Barack because despite evidence to show how utterly horrendous it truly is, he would lead us down the path towards socialized medicine.

And finally, I’m not voting for Barack because he’s a Democrat. That doesn’t mean I will never vote for a Democrat, but the modern visage of the DNC is that of being anti-American, anti-capitalist and anti-Constitution. Senator Obama embodies everything that is contemptible and wrong with the Democratic party. He IS a demagogue and he wishes to bring down the what makes this country great.

Note: It has NOTHING to do with his skin color. It has to do with what he says and what he does that puts me on the path to opposing him, not his heritage or his melanin.

As for you Chuck, you bald-headed douch-bag, next time you call anyone racist for not supporting Barack Obama, it would be true karma if you were to lose your job and have to resort to handjobs to keep your gambling action under control.

Would you buy the NY Times?

Say you had media company or just had billions of cash laying around. I know, I know, if you just had that money lying around, you’d be a evil greedy Republican who doesn’t want to let the chocolate people touch his money. But, tired cliches aside, if you did have the money to do so, would you buy the Gray Old Lady at $9.55 a share? If you had the ability to do so, would you become the major shareholder and bust old Arthur Sulzberger and Bill Keller out of there?

Would you keep the editorial board the same or would you revamp it?

Would you as the publisher demand that stories from either party be front and center and not bury a particular one based on the political party it affects?

It is the biggest newspaper in the country, particularly from the influential standpoint, but is that waning? If, as a greedy Republican, would you even want to waste your money on buying such a money-pit even if you think owning it would give your side some psychological edge in Big Media?

Imagine if you had enough money to save Jeff Immelt’s butt and buy NBC Universal though. Wouldn’t that be fun.

So who complained more?

George Soros?

Or the little dweeb from Massachussets?

I stand by my assertion that Barney Frank whined like a little hussy to NBC and that got the change to the suddenly in demand video.
