Where’s the complaint website for that?

Seriously, is there anything in this world these days people DON’T complain about? And believe or not, I cannot tell you the last time that I went to McDonalds where they did NOT get my order right. It has probably been at least 4-5 years since they screwed up my order. And even then it was giving me something I didn’t even ask for.

I think it’s the mindset of the habitual complainers in this country these days or the non-stop entitlement mentality that’s been slowly creeping into people for all these decades. It’s that “customer is always right” mindset people have, even if it means being a customer with an a-hole attitude.

If you go into a situation negatively, expect negative results. How many people at your job do you interact with seem to have in every tale they tell, something bad happening to them when they go to a store or have to deal with a cashier or their order got screwed up along the line. And I’m not saying these things don’t happen, but I don’t get so angry or miffed that I have complain for everyone in my building to know.

Makes me scared thinking about Boomsday when all the aging boomers start to retire en masse and they keep up with their “Me First” mentality. If I had my way boomers, I would opt out of social security to begin with, but you don’t want that I suppose. Not that I’m not going to worry about having any of the so-called “benefits” anyway when I retire.
