What makes us stand out from tyranny:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
What makes us stand up to tyranny:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
What we have gotten away from:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

One that has gotten out of control and is being used to destroy what makes this nation great:

Regardless of the various outcomes on November 4th, 2008, I still believe that common sense prevails in this country. No matter how obtuse the youngins in this country fall for the clap-trap that a centralized controlling government is best for them, they ultimately reject it.
For the people who believe that the government must provide for them, they are a tougher nut to crack. But they can be brought back from the brink.
On the morning of November 4th I will vote early, go to work and come home and watch the results as they unfold. In the end, whatever happens, will happen. If this is truly an historic election and the man who has been pre-ordained by the media wins, so be it. If the man who was the maverick the media adored until he won the nomination wins it, so be it.
This is what elections are all about, but what if there is a movement to change things or to tear what makes this country great after the election is over? Then we have a problem and lots of us who would like to wake up in the morning and look forward to great days instead get be beaten over the head with redistributing wealth (or future wealth) or punishing those who are sucessful are going to pushback against these hordes.
I hope the other side realizes this.
